Christ the Way Church Christ the Way is a church for Manchester NH. Casual, relational, community, children, food, messy, organic, simple, fresh expression of church.

Christ The Way: We are genuinely open to everyone, no matter where you are spiritually. We are informal, but we love God deeply and work out that love in our lives together. We intentionally focus on connecting with our neighborhoods and living out this Christian Way.

A wonderful, final gathering of Christ The Way. Thank you God, for 9, almost 10 years of wonderful worship, fellowship, service, friendship, food, and supporting the least and the hurting in our neighborhoods.
Everyone is now dispersing to other churches, and we will always remain a circle of friends.

We may be a little gospel-oriented community, yet today we witnessed God working through us to make good things happen. Here is our brother E. that we have been praying for and working with since February. Because of God's goodness through Christ The Way, E. Has moved off the streets and into his own room!! Now he can sleep in safety and peace, care for his holistic health, and he's already applying for jobs. Thank you Lord!

Micah 6:8 compels us to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God. As citizens and Christians we have a voice, and a vote to use to address the injustices we have experienced ourselves and that we see others suffering.
My response to yet another school massacre, and indeed to the next one too, is that I am happy to be part of imperfect steps that will take us part way to changing our society to minimize the chances that a sociopath can gun down little children. So I'll not need any assault weapons, or high capacity magazines. I'm happy to register my firearm and attend safety classes and sign to attest that my guns are locked and separate from ammunition. I'm happy to have to buy guns from regulated outlets and to have a background check. I'm happy to have to wait 48 hours when I order a gun. Even if it stops just one mass shooting in the coming years, it save just one child.
I'm also happy if we shift 1% of our military spending to provide better mental health services and parental support.
We, America, can get all of this done in a week if we want to.

Today we made a $25 microloan to a collective of women in Guatemala towards their business buying pigs and chickens. Kiva.com allows us to easily help entrepreneurs in the developing world to develop their business and life their families into increased prosperity. Christ the Way always has microloans working in this way!

Hi Church! I want you to feel good about good things that our small church is doing. We've been helping a man whose name is Enoch. He is 32 years old and is homeless on the streets of Manchester since he was 12, when his mother died. In the last 2 months we have renewed his cell phone plan so that he can stay safe. We've paid for 1 month of YMCA membership so he can shower and be clean and healthy. And this weekend we bought him a second hand mountain bike so he can get from where he sleeps to where he can get some work. Oh and we also bought him a sun hat! Enoch loves the Lord, and he only reads the King James Bible. This is what your compassionate giving is doing on the streets of Manchester. Have a blessed day.
