📖 **Discovering God Through the Bible – “Little Apostles” Summer Camp 2026**
With great joy, we completed three beautiful days of our children’s summer camp, held this year under the theme **“Little Apostles.”** ❤️ Children of different ages, from our youngest participant at just 3½ years old to teenagers of 13–16, came together to learn, pray, create, play, and grow in faith.
Each day began and ended with prayer. We started by getting to know one another and talking about questions such as: *What do we know about God? What is our favorite Bible story, saint, or church feast? When do we feel that God is close to us? What would we like to learn about God and the Bible?*
Throughout the three days, **Cristina led an interactive presentation, “Discovering God Through the Bible,”** introducing the children to the Holy Scripture in a way that was accessible to their different ages. They learned how the Bible is organized, explored the **Old and New Testaments**, and discovered how they are connected as one story of God’s love for His people.
We talked about Creation and Noah’s trust and obedience to God, Joseph and his decision to forgive his brothers, Moses and the Ten Commandments, and what these teachings can mean in our everyday lives. In the New Testament, we talked about the Birth and Baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ, His teachings and parables, and His beautiful words, **“Let the little children come to Me.”** The children also learned about the **four Evangelists—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—and their traditional symbols**, and practiced how to find a passage in the Bible using **book, chapter, and verse**.
Alongside our Bible lessons, the children enjoyed several hands-on activities. **Fr. Ionuț** taught them how to make prayer bracelets, and everyone was excited to create one of their own and wear it. **Bianca** guided the children step by step in drawing and painting a dove, giving them another beautiful way to express their faith through creativity. And, of course, there was plenty of time for play, laughter, friendship, and simply enjoying being together.
We are especially grateful to **the Zainea family and Decode Learning Pathways in Londonderry** for welcoming us and providing such a beautiful and comfortable space for our camp. We deeply appreciated their generosity and warm hospitality, which gave our children a wonderful environment in which to learn, pray, create, play, and spend these special days together.
Thank you to all the children and families who joined us and made these three days so special. Our hope and prayer is that our **“Little Apostles”** will carry what they learned with them—to know God more deeply through His Word, to practice faith and forgiveness, to love one another, and to place their trust in Him.

📖 **Tabăra de vară „Micii Apostoli” – Descoperindu-L pe Dumnezeu prin Biblie 2026**
Cu multă bucurie am încheiat trei zile frumoase ale taberei noastre pentru copii, desfășurată anul acesta sub tema **„Micii Apostoli.”** ❤️ Copii de vârste diferite, de la cel mai mic participant de doar 3 ani și jumătate până la adolescenți de 13–16 ani, s-au adunat pentru a învăța, a se ruga, a crea, a se juca și a crește împreună în credință.
Fiecare zi a început și s-a încheiat cu rugăciune. La început ne-am cunoscut mai bine și am discutat împreună întrebări precum: *Ce știm despre Dumnezeu? Care este povestea noastră preferată din Biblie, sfântul sau sărbătoarea preferată? Când simțim că Dumnezeu este aproape de noi? Ce ne-am dori să aflăm despre Dumnezeu și despre Biblie?*
Pe parcursul celor trei zile, **Cristina a susținut o prezentare interactivă, „Descoperindu-L pe Dumnezeu prin Biblie,”** prin care copiii s-au apropiat de Sfânta Scriptură într-un mod adaptat vârstelor lor. Au învățat cm este organizată Biblia, au descoperit **Vechiul și Noul Testament** și au înțeles mai bine cm acestea formează împreună povestea iubirii lui Dumnezeu pentru oameni.
Am vorbit despre Creație și despre încrederea și ascultarea lui Noe, despre Iosif și alegerea lui de a-și ierta frații, despre Moise și Cele Zece Porunci și despre modul în care aceste învățături se pot regăsi în viața noastră de zi cu zi. Din Noul Testament, am vorbit despre Nașterea și Botezul Domnului nostru Iisus Hristos, despre învățăturile și pildele Sale și despre frumoasele cuvinte: **„Lăsați copiii să vină la Mine.”** Copiii au aflat și despre **cei patru Evangheliști—Matei, Marcu, Luca și Ioan—și simbolurile lor tradiționale**, iar apoi au exersat cm să găsească un pasaj în Biblie folosind **cartea, capitolul și versetul**.
Alături de lecțiile biblice, copiii s-au bucurat și de activități practice și creative. **Părintele Ionuț** i-a învățat să confecționeze brățări de rugăciune, iar fiecare copil s-a bucurat să își realizeze propria brățară și să o poarte. **Bianca** i-a îndrumat pas cu pas să deseneze și să picteze un porumbel, oferindu-le încă un mod frumos de a-și exprima credința prin creativitate. Bineînțeles, nu au lipsit nici joaca, râsetele, prietenia și bucuria de a petrece timp împreună.
Mulțumim în mod deosebit **familiei Zainea și Decode Learning Pathways din Londonderry** pentru că ne-au primit cu atâta căldură și ne-au pus la dispoziție un spațiu atât de frumos și primitor pentru această tabără. Le suntem recunoscători pentru generozitate și ospitalitate și pentru cadrul minunat în care copiii au putut să învețe, să se roage, să creeze, să se joace și să se bucure de aceste zile împreună.
Mulțumim tuturor copiilor și familiilor care au fost alături de noi și au făcut aceste trei zile atât de frumoase. Ne dorim și ne rugăm ca **„Micii Apostoli”** ai noștri să păstreze în inimă ceea ce au învățat, să-L cunoască tot mai mult pe Dumnezeu prin Cuvântul Său, să trăiască în credință și iertare, să îi iubească pe cei din jur și să aibă mereu încredere în El.
**Dumnezeu să-i binecuvânteze pe toți copiii noștri și să-i călăuzească pe drumul credinței!** 🙏❤️
