78 years ago today, on August 30, 1948, the Church of God General Assembly in Birmingham, Alabama adopted the Declaration of Faith.

It remains our official expression of doctrine.

We believe:

1 In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
2 In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
3 That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
4 That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.
5 That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
6 In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
7 Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.
8 In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.
9 In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Ghost.
10 In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
11 Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
12 In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.
13 In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.
14 In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.

This we believe.

Sometimes the best thing we can do for someone is simply remind them that they’re not alone.

A kind word. A quick phone call. A little encouragement. A simple “I’m praying for you.”

You never know what someone may be carrying today.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11

SPIRITUAL AWAKENING UNDER THE TENT

The Upper Valley is in need of an awakening—and we believe God is calling His people to come together and seek His presence!

Join us under the tent for a powerful time of worship, prayer, preaching, healing, miracles, and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

We will focus on “The Pouring Out of the Oil”—the biblical picture of God's anointing and the Holy Spirit being poured out upon His people.

We are believing for:
🔥 A fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit
🔥 Lives transformed by the presence of God
🔥 Healing for the sick and hurting
🔥 Miracles and supernatural breakthrough
🔥 Restoration for families and individuals
🔥 A renewed hunger for God's Word and His presence
🔥 An awakening that reaches throughout the Upper Valley

This is more than a revival service. It is a call to awaken the Upper Valley to the presence and power of God.

Come hungry. Come expectant. Come believing.

THE TENT IS GOING UP.

What has God been teaching you lately?

Not necessarily something dramatic. Maybe He’s teaching you patience. Maybe it’s trust. Maybe forgiveness, obedience, contentment, or simply learning to slow down and listen.

Sometimes we’re so focused on asking God what He is going to do next that we miss what He is trying to teach us right now.

Take a moment today and think about it.
