I have always been very skeptical about the validity of the Shroud of Turin...until finishing Dr. Jeremiah Johnston's book "The Jesus Discoveries." In this interview with Dr. Johnston, he does an incredible job substantiating why it is the shroud of Jesus' infused on the material at the moment of His resurrection. Prominent misconceptions and objections are covered.
Have a look and decide for yourself. I'm not making an idol here, but as CS Lewis said, "there's much difference between a doctrine and a realization." Lewis had a framed image of the face the shroud hanging over his fireplace given to him by an Anglican nun.
