What an eventful weekend at BSBI! We had a concert, celebrated some special birthdays, and on Monday, we had Dr. Eliyahu Krigel join us for our Annual Torah Fund Dessert. Dr. Krigel had a discussion on loving-kindness from the book of Ruth, and made edible torahs with the group.

Some of BSBI's Foodshare volunteers took a tour of the Connecticut Foodshare warehouse and distribution site, learning about the full procedure of getting food out to those who need it all across the state.

Thank you to all of our Foodshare volunteers, you are all a crucial step in the process of getting fresh produce out to our community.
Our next Foodshare distribution in the Beth Sholom B'nai Israel Parking Lot, 400 Middle Turnpike E. Manchester CT will take place on Thursday, May 7th from 11:00am - 11:30am and takes place every other week.
