Tradition holds that after the Ascension of Jesus, the Blessed Mother walked along the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem, repeating the steps of her Son as he carried his cross to Calvary. At certain spots she would kneel and pray. In this way, she became the first pilgrim to retrace the Way of the Cross. Please join us Good Friday April 18th at 10am at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

In 2016 Mount Calvary Cemetery came up with the idea of receiving the Cremated Remains of people that were left in our local funeral homes and at churches to be placed in a Respectful and Dignified place, the St. Joseph of Arimathea Crypt . At the All Souls Day Mass Mount Calvary Cemetery will be accepting the Cremated Remains that have been left at local funeral homes. At the conclusion of the mass we will be having a Committal Service for the people we have received. The Remains will be later interred in the St. Joseph of Arimathea Crypt where we have over 325 Remains of people from Funeral Homes and churches.
