Our men’s discipleship group is planning to meet on Friday, 5-29-26 at 6:00 pm. We are trying to become Godly men, and base our lives on the examples and instruction given to us in the word of God. We’d like to invite you to join us, regardless of what’s going on in your life right now. It’s good for us to surround ourselves with other men who love, and live to serve God. We will have prayer, teaching of the Word, fellowship, and a hot meal!

Thursday is National Day of Prayer, and we plan to meet at 6:00 pm to have a prayer meeting. We are seeking a move of God in our lives, our communities and our nation. We need repentance, and to pray more than we’ve ever prayed before. If you have prayer requests and can’t join us, send a message or comment them on this post. Come if you can!

If you don’t currently attend church services anywhere, you are invited to join us! We have services on Sundays and Wednesdays where we worship together, pray together, and the word of God is central. Even if you don’t come to JBBC, we would like to encourage you find you a local church where they focus on biblical teaching. Don’t let bad experiences, your past, or anything else stop you. Nothing else is as important as our spiritual life.

You’re invited to join us for one or both of our services tomorrow! There will be worship, prayer, and preaching of the word of God. We’re not perfect people, we’re just a group of people who have been saved by grace. We are followers of Jesus, and we’d be glad to teach you about Him!

Good Monday morning to everyone who reads this! It looks like we will be blessed with a beautiful day. I just wanted to share a thought with you this morning, as we start a new week. Yesterday, as we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus, I noticed the cheer and joy being expressed by a many people. Rightfully so, because Easter is a very uplifting day. But I wanted to encourage you, do not forget to be uplifted today as well, because Jesus is still alive! As we settle back into our routines, problems we have been facing start to show their faces again, troubles on the news, and the stresses of everyday life reappear. I’d like to share a few verses from the book of Psalms with you.

“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah”

Find refuge and strength in Jesus, today and everyday!

Tonight’s the night!

We will be having a Fishers of Men Fellowship meeting on Friday, 3/27/2026, at 6:00 pm. There will be a time of prayer, bible study, fellowship, and a hot meal. The topic for this meeting is "Leading at Home During the Hard Stuff". Life ain't always easy, and Godly leadership in our homes is critical, especially during difficult seasons.
