This Sunday at Grace Baptist Church in Manchester, TN, we continue our series Do Not Lose Your Focus with a message from Haggai 1 titled “Rebuild.”

The people of Judah had returned to Jerusalem, but after opposition and discouragement, the work of rebuilding the Temple had stopped for years. Their attention shifted, their priorities changed, and God’s work was left unfinished.

Then God spoke through Haggai:

“Consider your ways!” — Haggai 1:5

Haggai 1 is a powerful reminder that it is easy for discouragement, busyness, and personal priorities to pull our focus away from what God has called us to do. But God’s message was not only one of correction—it was also one of hope:

“I am with you, says the LORD.” — Haggai 1:13

Maybe there is something in your spiritual life that needs to be rebuilt. Maybe discouragement has caused you to stop, delay, or lose focus. This Sunday, we’ll look at what it means to refocus, reorder our priorities, and rebuild what matters most.

A new Sunday Life Group begins this Sunday at 10:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church in Manchester, Tennessee!

Join us as we begin a study through Thom Rainer’s book, I Am a Church Member, and take a biblical look at what it means to be part of a healthy local church.

This first week, we’ll start with an important question: What is a church?

Together, we’ll explore how the Bible describes the church, why God established the local church, and the purpose He has given His people. We’ll also begin looking at how church membership connects with fellowship, worship, serving, spiritual growth, discipleship, and our mission to reach others with the Gospel.

Church membership is more than simply having your name on a church roll. It means belonging to a body of believers, caring for one another, growing together in Christ, serving faithfully, and joining together to Love God, Love Others, and Make Disciples.
