Have you seen the latest cemetery beautification project? It's at the south entrance, off Acers Street. When complete it will include a second tall monument to record future gifts to Oakland.

It's long past time that decorations not on concrete need to be removed! They create an obstacle for those who mow and w**d whip and slow down their work. There's everything from small items stuck in the ground to large wreath tripods that need to go. Anything not gone by next week is subject to being removed by staff. Please take care of your decorations and keep our cemetery looking great!

The fawns aren't the only interesting wildlife in the cemetery this week. Seeing this was a first for me and quite exciting! There are two but barely saw the second.
