Our staff enjoyed a special treat after today’s in-service meetings! 🌸

We spent some time at Sunny Ridge Flower Farm, where everyone was able to wander the flower field, pick their favorites, and create a beautiful bouquet to take home.

A big thank you to Sunny Ridge Flower Farm for generously gifting this U-Pick experience to our staff! 💐 It was such a fun and relaxing way to spend some time together before the start of another school year.

We are so grateful for the kindness and support shown to our school staff! ❤️

Here's a word from Kevin and Elizabeth Miller, St. Paul members who served this week in response to the recent tornado:

"A couple of years ago, St Paul Manawa held a basic LERT training. And even though, after the training, we get the emails, and we talk about it, there's always something else going on, or it's too far away, or we are tired and its been a long week.
This spring Kevin got LERT chainsaw trained and we had another conversation about prioritizing our time.
The recent tornado in Menasha was devastating. LERT was deployed.
There wasn't necessarily more devastation in Menasha than any other potential deployment that came before, and even though we could say that we still had a long week and we're still tired, it was fairly local...
So we borrowed a skidsteer and a dump trailer (thank you Spiegelberg Implement), talked a few family members into going too, and we went... and it was amazing. IT.WAS.AMAZING!
We witnessed to the homeowners, cut down trees, hauled the branches to the road for the city to pick up later, we raked the lawn. We finished in no time what the homeowners were working endlessly to try to do.
We worked alongside other members of the LCMS through the LERT program.
They were from West Bend, Brookfield and Janesville, from Ohio and South Carolina. We met people, made new friends, we saw people we knew and renewed friendships. We literally worked alongside family while helping others.
If you are not already LERT trained, highly recommended-please prayerfully consider! If you are LERT trained, we encourage you to find a deployment, to sign up, and to serve others in need alongside of your brothers and sisters in Christ!
