Because of the continuing frigid temperatures, we have decided to cancel both Wednesday (01/28/2026) and Thursday (01/29/2026) services to give us a chance to get the church parking lot and grounds cleaned up.

SERVICE CANCELLED!

The unpredictability of the weather forecast today has left me in a bit of quandary. Normally I would say let's press on and who cares about a little snow. However, because I know the threat of snow will cause some if not many to remain home, I have decided to yield to what I believe is the good providence of God and CANCEL TODAY'S SERVICE partly because the snow is suppose to start shortly before the service.

Another underlying reason is because we were scheduled to start Revelation and take communion together. A sparse congregational gathering for such a grand occasion doesn't seem fitting. So Lord willing, Revelation & communion will be postponed until next Sunday 1/26.

I would encourage us all not to waste the day. Read your Bible's, have some worship time at home, and find some brethren to fellowship & break bread with.

A child discipleship class was held today for parents and hopeful future parents. Pastor Dave gave scripture-based lessons on how to train up children in the ways of Christ.

We had the opportunity to participate in the Dale City Independence Day Parade and Family Fun Day again this year. We shared the gospel in song on our float, and handed out tracts both along the parade route and at our outreach booth. Please pray that the Lord would continue to reach and minister to those we interacted with at these events.
