If you follow the Christian Calendar Year, today is Maundy Thursday part of the Holy Week and is the Thursday before Easter. Also known as Holy Thursday, it is believed to be the day that Jesus partook in his final Passover meal with his disciples. During this passover meal, also referred to as the Last Supper, Jesus washed his disciples feet and established the practice of communion. We have collected Maundy Thursday Scriptures and Bible readings that tell of the events of the day. You can use these passages to help you reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made.
The word "maundy" comes from Latin meaning "mandatum" which translates to "command". Jesus gave his disciples a command to love one another. On Maundy Thursday, Jesus displayed his servanthood and love, and prophesied of his death. It was on the evening of Maundy Thursday that Jesus retreated to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray. John 13:1-17. As you read these Bible verses, may you be reminded of God's great love for you! and share with your friends and family the greatest news ever told - the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

🔹 Sunday Recap: "Do As He Did" with Pastor McElroy 🔹

Missed last Sunday’s message? Here’s a powerful takeaway! 🙌

Pastor McElroy reminded us that living like Jesus isn’t just an idea—it’s a practical reality. He challenged us to grow and mature in faith, reflecting Jesus in our actions and decisions. This means showing hospitality, sharing the gospel, and embodying His teachings in daily life.

He also spoke about living with purpose, surrendering to Jesus, and praying for wisdom. To help us on this journey, he introduced the "Rule of Life"—a guide to aligning our lives with Christ. He encouraged us to commit to this new way of living, seek God's direction, and extend love to others through simple acts, like inviting someone over for a meal.

Let’s take this message to heart and live as He did! 💙✨
