As'salaamu Alaikum Dear Community,

Yesterday's shooting incident at the San Diego Masjid was horrific. The loss of life is heartbreaking, and we pray that Allah (SWT) grants the highest rank of Shuhada to our loved ones who gave their lives to protect others.

In light of this, the MAV Inc. management is taking immediate and reasonable steps to further enhance security across our locations. We are in regular communication with the Prince William County (PWC) Police Department at both operational and leadership levels.

Moving forward, the County Police will be conducting extra patrols at Dar Al Noor, so you may notice police vehicles in the parking lot. Additionally, you may see an armed security presence in our lobby.

We ask our community members to remain calm and not panic, but let us all stay vigilant about our surroundings at Dar Al Noor. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at [email protected].

Updated Jumu’ah Prayer Schedule Starting May 15:

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

As Dar Al Noor begins the first phase of our expansion project, including parking lot construction, we will begin holding 4 Jumu’ah prayers starting Friday, May 15, InshaAllah, to better accommodate our growing community during this period.

We kindly ask community members to arrive early, follow parking guidelines, and attend the prayer time most convenient for them to help ease congestion and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

May Allah (SWT) bless this expansion effort and reward everyone for their patience, support, and cooperation.
