🙌✨ What a Powerful Sunday in God's Presence!✨🙌

This Sunday, Pastor Kofi Owusu-Boakye delivered an inspiring message on the theme: 🔥 "A Life Dedicated to the Pursuit and Hunger of God" 🔥

Through God's Word, we were reminded that a deep hunger for Him transforms our lives and draws us closer to His purpose. As Jesus taught in Matthew 5, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled!

đź“– Key Lessons: Three Attributes of Seeking God

âś… Yield Yourself to Obedience (Hebrews 5:7-9): True pursuit of God begins with a heart that is willing to obey His voice, even when it's challenging.

⏳ Be Prepared to Wait (Acts 1:4): God's timing is always perfect. Waiting on Him builds faith, strength, and spiritual maturity.

❤️ Be Intimate with God and His Word (John 1:1): A thriving relationship with God is nurtured through prayer, worship, and consistent study of His Word.

As we continue to seek God wholeheartedly, may we grow in obedience, patience, and intimacy with Him.

🙏 Missed the service? Don't miss the next one! Join us this week as we worship, learn, and experience God's presence together. There is a place for you here, and we would love to welcome you!

📖🌍🔥 On May 17, 2026, Elder Maxwell Boachie continued the teaching on the growing crisis contributing to declining church membership and the urgent need for believers to remain spiritually grounded, reinforcing the Bible studies earlier led by Elder James Offeh. Referencing from 3 John 1:2, 2 Kings 4:4–8, Acts 16:15, 1 Chronicles 4:9–10, and Ephesians 3:20–21, the message emphasized God’s desire for the spiritual growth, faithfulness, and prosperity of His people. The congregation was encouraged to deepen their relationship with God through prayer, hospitality, obedience, and unwavering faith, following biblical examples of divine favor and increase. Members were reminded that through God’s power, the Church can overcome spiritual decline, strengthen believers, and continue transforming lives for His glory.

During the 2026 Mother’s Day service, the congregation was blessed with a powerful message from Deaconess Rita Obeng on the theme “Women and Young Ladies Transforming Lives Through the Gospel,” based on Acts 8:4-8 and John 4:25-30. She encouraged women, young ladies, and all to use their God-given talents to glorify God and impact lives positively through the Gospel. She also emphasized that Christianity is a personal walk of accountability, calling believers to reflect Christ in their worship, marriages, character, song ministration, and daily conduct. The congregation was reminded to build godly homes, avoid frustrating their spouses, and let their lives become testimonies that draw others to Christ. 🌸📖🌍🔥

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, the COP Manassas Assembly Women’s Ministry Week was powerfully climaxed with a transformational message by Deaconess Vida Okyere titled “Embracing the Strength Deborah Had.” Drawing from Judges 4:5–9, John 15:18–19, James 1:22, and Hebrews 11:6, she challenged believers to walk in active faith, bold belief, and divine leadership as foundational pillars of the Christian life. The congregation was encouraged to be courageous in Christ, faithfully tend God’s vineyard, step out in faith, and embrace their glory in Him despite opposition. Above all, she emphasized that our strength in Christ must lead us to love others and intentionally share the Gospel for Kingdom expansion. 🌍🔥👑💪🏾

Today (4/12/26) being the first Sunday after Jesus’ resurrection - also Communion Sunday - the congregation was uplifted in powerful, Spirit-filled worship led by Deaconess Rita Obeng, who stirred hearts with songs centered on the blood of Jesus. Elder James Nana Kwaku Offeh then delivered a compelling message titled “After the Resurrection, What’s Next?”, drawing from Romans, Acts, Luke, John, and Matthew. He taught that the resurrection is not just an event to celebrate, but a reality that empowers believers to have unwavering faith, make disciples, await Christ’s second coming, endure trials, and walk in victory. He reminded the church that Christ’s death and resurrection must produce tangible transformation and purpose in our daily lives.
