We all enjoyed Purim 2026 "Through The Decades at TBS. Our SCJEP Hamantashen and Craft Event started off the night and was enjoyed by our Hebrew School parents and members of the community. Cantor Summer led us in M'ariv Services and chanted the megillah during our spiel. Cantor Summer, Inbar and our Spiel Cast, Michael Goodman(Haman), Howard Meltzer(Mordechai),Celia Hecht(Vashti), Karin-Jill Schneider(Esther) and Eric Schwam(King Ahasveros) were all fabulous and Adam Glenn, our accompanist brought the song parodies to life. What a night! Lots of fun at TBS!

What an unforgettable night at our Latkes & Vodkas celebration! ✨

Surrounded by community, laughter, and the spirit of Chanukkah, we sang, danced, and celebrated together—made even better by the incredible energy of Nashville City Nights who kept the joy flowing all evening. From crispy latkes to raised glasses and nonstop music, it was a night filled with light, connection, and so much fun. Chanukkah joy at its best! 🕎🎶🥔🍸

December is bringing the JOY 🧿

Here’s what’s happening at Temple Beth Shalom this month (and honestly, you’re going to want to clear your calendar):

Dec 12 @ 7pm → Family Service with music, and all the cozy vibes

Dec 13 @ 8pm → Latkes & Vodkas (yes, you read that right) - Live music by Nashville Nights, potato pancakes, and grown-up fun (We will have babysitting available)!

Dec 18 @ 5:50pm → Community Menorah Lighting, a night of music, light, and togetherness for all

Dec 19 @ 8pm → TBS Alive Chanukah with musical accompaniment - because the festival of lights deserves a soundtrack

These aren’t your typical temple events - they’re the kind of gatherings that remind you why community matters.

What an amazing turnout at Temple Beth Shalom of Western Monmouth on Sunday 💛

Our Teen Committee spent the morning sorting and packing all of the Thanksgiving food drive donations collected for local families in the Manalapan and Freehold NJ area.

Seeing our teens volunteer with so much heart was the highlight of the day. Every bag and every can you donated will help a family enjoy a brighter holiday. 🤍
