💧 “Wherever the river flows, life will flourish.” — Ezekiel 47:9

From Genesis to Revelation, water flows through Scripture — a sign of creation, renewal and hope.

As we enter the Season of Creation, Fr. Kevin, our Rector, invites us to see those ancient images with fresh eyes. The Bible’s vision of clean, life-giving water also calls our attention to the waters of today: the streams and rivers around us, the wetlands and ecosystems they sustain, and our responsibility for their care.

The Season of Creation asks us to do more than appreciate the natural world. It asks us to listen, respond and become a blessing to creation ourselves.

🌿 Join us tonight for an evening in the meadow.

Take a moment to notice, listen, and give thanks. At 6:30 pm, we’ll gather near the meadow and vegetable garden at St. Francis-in-the-Fields for a Creation Eve Prayer Service, marking the beginning of the liturgical Season of Creation.

From September 1 through October 4 — the Feast of St. Francis — we’ll join Christians around the world in a season of prayer, reflection, and care for God’s creation. 🌻🍂🌳

We begin that journey together outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of late summer.

🎒 School-year kickoff, St. Francis style!

Continuing a St. Francis-in-the-Fields back-to-school tradition, we honored our school-aged children and teachers during the Sunday Eucharist and added a new twist with Family Fun Day on the lawn!

Children of all ages, parents, and grandparents gathered for lunch, games, and plenty of laughter! It was a great day across the generations and a fitting start to the new school year.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it happen!
