Youth & the community
The Victory Community Center is a 501c3 non profit organization. It was founded in 2006 by Rev. Henry L. Mitchell in sponsoring the first “Back To School Youth Explosion”, now an annual event that assists Malvern School District youth with school supplies for the new school term.
The Victory Community Center is a new addition to the organization. It was founded on and continues to be committed to the ideas of enriching people’s lives through recreation and social activities.
This center will strive to provide the community with the programs that are mentally, physically and socially challenging for all who enter. Our hope is that the community will take advantage of activities the Victory Center has to offer.
We are fortunate to have dedicated board members who assisted the center through the biggest transition in our history, which is out move to out new home. We are pleases to be in the old “WIlson High School” facility, a building that carries such a rich legacy in the Malvern, AR community.
The board serves as vision keepers who support our center by advision, strategic planning, fundraising and monitoring the financial health of the center.
The mission of the VICTORY Praise & Worship Church & Community Center is to create a relevant and vibrant community complex serving the educational, social, economic and healthcare needs of this low-income community. This center will be multi-purposed and offer a variety of activities and community outreach. PROGRAMS WILL BE DESIGNED TO MINISTER TO ALL PERSONS WITHOUT REGARD TO AGE, RACE, S*X, OR SOCAL OR EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND.
The vision of VICTORY Praise & Worship Church & Community Center is to provide a place where participants are motivated and educated about their health and education, a place where they can progress, ans well as access other available resources to build better futures and a safe and drug-free environment for youth VICTORY Praise & Worship Church & Community Center will provide recreation for youth and socialization for adults. We believe that this ministry will succeed in direct proportion to the faith we hold in the vision which it wa founded. Therefore, we humbly ask our members and many friends to support this ministry through fervent and unceasing prayer, commitment to out outreach program and growth goals.
