Dear Father in Heaven,

You know the tribulations I have faced and those which I will face.

Thank You for giving me hope in the face of all trials, temptations and battles.

Please bring these words of Jesus to my mind whenever I am feeling overwhelmed...

These things I have spoken to you,
that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer,
I have overcome the world.
John 16:33

I am so happy and thankful that You have overcome the world and that You have given me Your hope and future.

Because of the power, love and sacrifice of my Lord Jesus, I too can overcome the world as John writes...

You are of God, little children,
and have overcome them,
because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
I John 4:4

You give me joy and motivation to keep moving forward.

You are my greatest inspiration.

You are my encouragement, and I love You.

A Sure & Blessed Future

Dear Lord God,

Today I want to ask for Your protection and blessing for my Christian sisters and brothers around the world.

Please give us all wisdom and guidance, and surround us with Your guardian angels...

For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
Psalm 91:11

I pray for my Christian brothers and sisters, for parents and teachers; for pastors and missionaries; for Christians in business and in governments; for medical, social and relief workers; for Christians in law enforcement and in the military; for every Christian that is doing Your work, Your will, and Your ministry.

I lift them up to You, as their responsibilities are great.

Please block Satan’s attempts to harm and deceive us.

Please help us to stay focused on the tasks and the work to which You have called us.

Lord Jesus, we are eager to receive Your power and to be Your witnesses as You taught us...

"But you shall receive power
when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1:8

Thank You that we have the privilege to be Your witnesses today and everyday.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Why do the nations rage...?..the rulers take counsel together,
against the Lord and against His Anointed?
Psalm 2:1-2

Lord Jesus, the Psalmist recorded what God the Father has spoken to You...

Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
Psalm 2:8

I pray in agreement with what John wrote about You, my Lord Jesus...

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
John 1:1-3

I look forward to the day when Your glory will fill the earth that You created and when You will be acknowledged as the Desire of All Nations...

I will shake all nations,
and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations,
and I will fill this temple with glory,’
says the Lord of hosts.
Haggai 2:7

What a glorious day that will be when all nations come to You, the Messiah, the Creator, the Almighty, Everlasting, Prince of Peace, Savior and Judge who will be recognized as the Desire of All Nations.

My Lord Jesus, You are my deepest Desire.

Come Lord Jesus and fill me with expectation of what You will do today.

Come, Desire of All Nations, come in your glorious appearing today.

Dear Lord God,

What a privilege to be the apple of Your eye.

Thank You for hearing me when I call to You.

I praise You for Your lovingkindness and Your salvation.

I pray with King David that you will hide and protect me from all evil and harm...

I have called upon You, for You will hear me,
O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.
Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You
From those who rise up against them.
Keep me as the apple of Your eye;
Hide me under the shadow of Your wings...
Psalms 17:6-8

I pray that You will also protect and hide my Christian brothers and sisters around the world who are persecuted. Please hide each one in the shadow of Your wings.

Please help me to always lift Jesus up, so all people will be drawn to Him, as Jesus taught...

And I, if I am lifted up from the earth,
will draw all peoples to Myself.
John 12:32

May every person be drawn to You as You are lifted up in my life, my home, my church, my school, my workplace, my community, my nation and throughout the world.

Good morning Lord,

I am so thankful that You have called me to Your purposes on this earth.

I am grateful for Your salvation in Jesus and the Counsel You give me through Your Holy Spirit.

As I start this new day, I join the Apostle Paul in praying...

I run straight toward the goal
to win the prize that God's heavenly call offers
in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:14

I want to run straight toward Your Goal for me today.

Please help me to win the prize that you offer to me.

Please give to me a clear mind, a pure heart and a touch of Your wisdom to do what is good and right this day...

Observe and obey all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of the Lord your God.
Deuteronomy 12:28

My Lord Jesus, I want to know You and Your word, I want to be identified as Your disciple. Please teach me the truth and set me free, as You taught us...

If you abide in My word,
you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:31-32

May my life glorify You and be pleasing in Your sight.

Dear Father in Heaven,

I praise You and thank You for this new day full of Your promises and blessings.

You are the mighty God, the creator of everything, the lover and sustainer of me and of all life.

You are my awesome Heavenly Father.

You are all-knowing and ever-present, I want to draw near to You now.

How can I even count the ways that You are worthy of my praise?

Thank You for Your free gifts of love, forgiveness, salvation and eternal life with You through Your righteous Son Jesus Christ...

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him,
and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 1:1-5

Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who fills and guides me each day.

Thank You for Your Holy Bible that illuminates, instructs and leads me.

I am grateful for who You are, for all that You do and all that You will do.
