St. Mary's Catholic Church

Please join us at our mission church in S**o as we celebrate our Patron Saint at Saint Francis of Assisi Church on Sunday, October 4th @ 12:30pm Mass.

All are invited, please bring a favorite dish to share if you are able.

This year Pope Leo XIV proclaimed an extraordinary Jubilee Year of St. Francis of Assisi running from January 10th, 2026 through January 10th, 2027. During this period, the Catholic Church grants a plenary indulgence to the faithful who, visit a Franciscan church or one dedicated to St. Francis, fulfill the standard spiritual conditions, and pray for peace and spiritual renewal. Attending our Patron Saint Day Celebration in S**o would be a wonderful way to complete one of the steps necessary to receive a plenary indulgence.

We are pleased to announce Bishop Jeffrey Fleming will be in S**o this weekend celebrating the Sunday Mass with us!

The PC Transit Bus will be available to take people to the celebration in S**o. It will leave St. Mary’s Church @ 11:35am and return around 3pm. The cost will be around $5-$10.

Yesterday’s Patron Saint Day Celebration at St. Mary’s Church was so special. It was a wonderful day filled with celebration and gratitude. As Fr. Felix said in his homily, the children are not only the future of our church, but they are also a part of the church today. He also speaks of how important Mary is for the Church. Leading us to Jesus and guiding us to grow as loving families.

Thank you Fr. Felix for the inspirational homily yesterday as we honored Mary and came together as a church family to pray, reflect, and celebrate.
