Due to severe weather warnings for this evening (April 23rd), we have been notified that the LWML Rally Event that was being held @ St Paul church in Emmetsburg this evening has been postponed to next Thursday, April 30th @ St Paul at the same time. 5:30 registration will begin.

Come join us at Matins service each week! Wednesdays at 9:00am @ Zion Lutheran in Ayrshire. Thursdays at 9:00am @ Trinity Lutheran in Mallard.

Matins is a historic, sung morning prayer service, emphasizing scripture, psalmody, and prayer. It centers on praising God at the start of the day through an opening versicle ("O Lord, open my lips"), Psalms, an office hymn, scripture readings, and canticles. The service is about a 1/2 hour. All are welcome to join us!

Alleluia! Christ is risen! He is our great High Priest. The body of Jesus is not dead, for in His Body is the Life which is the light of men. The chains of death could not hold Him. The Scriptures all prophesy that the Christ must suffer and die, but on the third day rise. Alleluia! It is the third day! He is risen! Here in our worship is where our High Priest is available to us. Here is where He opens His heavenly tabernacle to us. He is risen from the dead. His tomb has become our tomb, and by His resurrection, we are made fit to enter into the heavenly gates to worship Him unto ages of ages! Happy Easter!
