Although we meet in Malibu, we have women from Pacific Palisades, Ventura, the San Fernando Valley, the Conejo Valley, Simi and Moorpark. Come join us!

Dear friends,

We are looking forward to our Sharing Luncheon on Tuesday, May 8, as we celebrate our study of Acts and wind up this final year of being a CBS class. We invite all of you to join us on Tuesday as we share stories of our growth together.

If you would like to attend the luncheon but have not yet made a reservation, please contact us by Monday, May 7. The “luncheon” will begin at our usual 10:00. We will be serving a salad topped with either chicken or salmon. As you respond, please tell us your preference.

THIS IS NOT OUR FINAL YEAR OF BEING A BIBLE STUDY CLASS!! We plan to meet at our usual time (Tuesdays, 9:45 to noon, at Malibu Presbyterian Church) beginning September 11 with a very similar structure to what we have known. Our study next year will be Romans, and we will be using the Engaging God’s Word series volume on Romans. This book is also published by Community Bible Study and is available on Amazon.

The study this year has been powerful as we have seen the Holy Spirit in action in the stories of Acts and in our own lives. I hope that you will share, at your table or to the whole group, how the Word of God and His power and love have made a difference to you this year.

Community Bible Study begins again this coming week: Tuesday, September 13, 9:45 a.m. at Malibu Presbyterian Church.

We invite you to join us as we study the scriptures together! Our study this year is entitled, "From the Red Sea to the Jordan River." We will journey with the Israelites as they leave enslavement in Egypt and progress toward the land that God promised to Abraham. We also offer classes for children, nursery through primary grades.

Come join us on Tuesday, May 10th from 10-12 @ Malibu Pres for our annual Sharing Luncheon! Class members will share what the Gospel of Matthew has meant to them this year. It's a great day to come if you're interested in giving CBS a try next year!

If you haven't heard yet, we have a new study selected for next year (to begin Sept. 2016):

"Red Sea to the Jordan River" will focus on the stories of God's faithfulness in Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers. Biblical themes will include: doubt and faith, complaining and grace, crisis and intercession, and failure and repentance.

Plan to come join us in another year of spiritual growth! We are taking registrations now - just send us a message!
