Our Cemetery offices are open; however, we strongly advise you to postpone any visits to our mausoleums or gravesites for the next couple days due to icing on cemetery roads and walkways as well as frigid temperatures.

Our groundskeepers are diligently out working to salt and make our cemetery roads and sidewalks safe for visitors, but this will take time.

If you must leave home today, please be cautious as most of our region is experiencing low temperatures and icy conditions.

Be cautious and safe!

The Catholic Cemetery Association will be hosting students from Bishop Fenwick High School as they participate in a “Wreaths Across America” tribute within the Veterans Section of our St. Mary Cemetery, Salem, MA this Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 12 PM.

We encourage all who are interested in volunteering to join us, rain or shine, for a brief, reflective ceremony followed by the playing of Taps and the laying of wreaths upon a hero’s grave.

For any questions or inquiries, please contact James Brasco at 339-226-1271.

We are happy to announce that we will be allowing flowers within our Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden effective immediately.

As a gentle reminder, masks and adherence to social distancing protocols are still required while inside our mausoleum or sales office.

The Catholic Cemetery Association appreciates the cooperation and understanding from our families over the past several months as we've implemented safety measures and Covid-19 protocols. We understand that the limitations imposed on the cemetery and funeral industry have been especially difficult for those who have grieved so deeply during this time. We want to thank you all for your continued support and we are happy to be able to accommodate flower services once again for our families.

Stay safe & have a blessed day!

Is anyone else looking forward to celebrating Christmas Mass with Pope Francis? Or how about Midnight Mass with Cardinal Sean? Or perhaps participating in a Christmas evening Mass at the awe-inspiring Basilica of National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC?

Important notice from The Catholic Cemetery Association regarding fall clean-up during the month of November

Fall clean-up will begin at All Catholic Cemetery Association operated cemeteries during the month of November. It is the responsibility of the lot owner to remove all baskets, wreaths, and items you wish to preserve prior to this date. The Catholic Cemetery Association is not responsible for the removal or safe keeping of your personal items. Water will also be shut off during the fall and turned back on in the spring.

The clean-up of the cemeteries can take time, and dependent upon the weather and the number of burials, may take a few weeks to complete. During clean-up, cemetery staff remove and discard all items from the grave-sites. Flowers and decorations can be placed starting the week following Veterans Day.
