Last year, Train Up A Child Ministries A2G Ryderz collaborated with Arts Culture Catawba and awarded a student with a Kathryn T. Greathouse Legacy Scholarship.

The mission of this need-based and merit-based scholarship is to provide cultural education opportunities to students in the primary and secondary education levels. However, students seeking financial assistance for college are not eligible for this scholarship.

To be eligible, applicants must be 19 years or younger and not have earned a high school diploma. Additionally, each recipient must reside in or attend an elementary, middle, or high school in Catawba County, regardless of whether it’s public, private, or homeschooled.

The funds awarded through the Kathryn T. Greathouse Legacy Scholarship can be used for various purposes, including music study, voice study, visual art study, dance study, writing study, drama/acting study, music composition study, and the purchase of materials, instruments, or equipment.

If you know any students who meet this requirement, please reach out to me. Additional information requirement information will be provided if you are interested or know a child in need. We would love to present another scholarship this year!
