Today we celebrate God’s faithfulness, healing, and the power of prayer.
Seven months ago, the Tedder family began a journey no family ever wants to face. As their youngest son, Hunter, battled cancer, they fought with unwavering strength, leaned on their faith, and trusted God through every appointment, treatment, and uncertain day.
Through it all, God never left their side. He provided comfort, strength, encouragement, and countless reminders of His presence every step of the way.
Today, we rejoice alongside the Tedder family as Hunter is officially cancer-free! 🙌
What a testimony of God’s goodness, mercy, and healing power. As one chapter closes, another exciting one begins. Hunter is preparing to start his freshman year at Catawba College, where he will continue his football journey and embrace all that God has planned for his future.
Hunter, your EMBC family has prayed for you, cheered for you, and celebrated every victory along the way. We praise God for His healing hand upon your life and look forward to seeing what He does next.

“Today was a day we have prayed for, hoped for, and fought for.
Hunter rang the bell today, surrounded by family and friends, marking the final step in kicking cancer's butt! 🎉💜
The past seven months have been an emotional roller coaster filled with highs, lows, fear, hope, tears, and countless prayers. While this journey is one we never would have chosen, it has changed us—for the better. It has taught us just how precious life is and reminded us that God is at the center of it all.
We have said it time and time again, but we can never say it enough: thank you to all of our prayer warriors. Your prayers, encouragement, support, and love carried us through some of the hardest days of our lives. Without you, I truly don't know how we would have made it through these past seven months.
Today, we celebrate Hunter's strength, God's faithfulness, and the incredible community that stood beside us every step of the way.
