Did you know at Table 219 we use 100% compostable or recyclable dishes, utensils, serving trays, etc? Yep, those "plastic" forks are made from plant material. While we would love to use reusable goods, it's difficult to do so when we are using other people's spaces for our services. Keeping the earth that God gave us as clean as we can is a top priority!

"Table 219" is a community of believers, seekers, and skeptics; those who have a deep relationship with Jesus, those who have felt betrayed by the church, but want to be part of a community in Christ, and those who are interested in what being a follower in Christ means. Our service is part conversation and part listening. A meal is part of our weekly service. All are truly welcomed to The Table, no strings attached.

This week we begin a four week series on "Being a Community of Faith". Our guest leader is Conie Borchardt. Conie calls themselves “a listener, vibration, and Public Heart Artist” and a “Luth-opalian Sufi Dancer,” someone who pays attention deeply and moves from a place of knowing tradition, exploring creatively, and healing with embodied curiosity. As a Cultural Catalyst, they weave the ancient communal practices of singing and moving together, the curiosity of a student of emergent change, and the skills of a spiritual companion and vocal coach to create new culture with everyday heart artists to remember, question, and protect what’s important. A mixed Asian born before the internet on the rural plains first tended by the Dakota peoples, they now live near B’dote, the confluence of the Mn’sota and Misi-ziibi Rivers. (Pronouns: she or they)
