"Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep." Romans 12:15
There's something deeply human about this verse. It's not asking us to fix anything or have all the right words. It's asking us to be *present* with each other—to celebrate the good things our friends and neighbors are experiencing, and to sit quietly with those who are hurting.
This is what happens here, week after week. When we gather for worship and share our prayer requests, we do this together. We light up when someone shares good news. We hold space for the health concerns, the losses, the struggles. And then we carry those joys and burdens with us into our Fellowship Hour and out into our week.
That's the heartbeat of what it means to be the church. Not perfection or having it all figured out—just showing up for each other, honestly and faithfully.
This Sunday at 10 a.m., we'll be celebrating the Lord's Supper. You're welcome here exactly as you are. Come as you are, and let us walk alongside you.
