One of our 1st Grade classes learned about the Cross as a sign of Jesus' great love and mercy for us, and the joy and hope we can experience on Easter morning when He rose from the dead. Art is a special way the children can express what they have learned. So amazed at their talent! 🎨🖌️

On Ash Wednesday, we receive ashes on our foreheads, a visible sign of repentance and a reminder of our call to "turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel," and that we are dust, and to dust we shall return. Our goal is Heaven, and Lent can be a time of reflection on how our journey there is going!

During this time, we are invited to deepen our relationship with God. Through prayer, fasting, and acts of charity, we prepare our hearts to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. It's a time to focus on spiritual growth and renewal as individuals and as a community.
