In Acts 2, 3,000 people from all over the known world came to faith. 3000 people with different traditions, ideas, understandings and experiences. What did they need now?

Acts 2:42 God’s Word.
The great mediator for their different traditions, ideas understandings and experiences is God’s word.

Acts 2:42 Fellowship
When you gather people with different traditions, ideas, understanding and experiences, the hardest thing might be just being together.

Acts 2:42 Breaking of Bread
This isn’t dinner, but celebrating the Eucharist (communion) it is remembering that it is Jesus sacrifice on the cross that binds us together.

Acts 2:42 Prayer
When we’re together, we need to remember that God is with us, and that we need to talk to God
How many times have you sat at a table, trying to figure something out with somebody and missed the opportunity to pray and ask God together?
