“Rainforest Falls” VBS began last night! Our day 1 theme was: God is Our Creator, focusing on Genesis 1 🌎
Children learned new songs, moved through art, science and Bible Story rotations, played outside and made new friends. 😊 Day 2 continues tonight at 5:00. 🎶🖌️✝️

The Mahnomen High School class of 2026 scholarship awards ceremony was held today. A new scholarship opportunity was created for FLC seniors titled, “The First Lutheran Church Roger and Teri Lehne Scholarship”. Julie LaVoy presented the awards on behalf of her aunt and uncle. Leah Hlubek and Blake McMullen each received a $2000 scholarship to further their education. Congratulations!

Today Lauren Marie Haugo received the sacrament of Holy Baptism. Parents are Trevor and Madison Haugo and Godparents are Ethan Kettner and Therese Turner.
