“Don’t Go Back!” is the title of this Sunday’s message at MMBC as we continue the Galatians Sermon Series. Paul is concerned that the Galatian Christians are being led astray by false teachers who are attempting to lead them back into the bo***ge of living by the law to attain righteousness. He reminds them of their glorious conversion when they first came to faith in Christ. Although this is a warning about leaving grace to live under the bo***ge of the law, it also serves as a warning about leaving the joy of following Jesus and falling back into sin. Following Christ certainly isn’t without trials and struggles, but we should never leave our first love of Jesus to go back into the slavery of sin. Join us this Sunday at either 9:00 or 11:15 AM to be encouraged to stay the course and keep the faith. We would love to have you and your family worship with us!

Last week, we celebrated the life of Frank Belden, and our hearts are deeply saddened by his unexpected passing. While the loss is heavy, we find peace in knowing he is with Jesus, and we can rest assured he heard the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Frank’s life was a reflection of his faith, and his legacy will continue to point others to Christ. Let us all share Christ with the same zeal as Frank, while also lifting others in prayer and standing as defenders of the gospel in our church.
