🍂Maliah’s Fall Retreat Story 🍂
“The one moment I remember the most is being baptized. I have been saved in the past before but never baptized. I knew that I wasn’t ready in the past. Around the time of Fall Retreat, I knew I was ready to be saved again, but I didn’t know how to go about asking to be saved again. To me this was definitely God’s timing to be able to be saved again at fall retreat. I was extremely nervous for two reasons. One is because I felt embarrassed because I was already saved in my past. The second reason is because I didn’t have my family with me to congratulate me after or cheer me on through the process. Turns out I didn’t need my family there to cheer me on or congratulate me afterwards because everybody that was there did that and it made me feel great and comfortable. Even when I told people that I’ve already been saved in the past, nobody said anything negative or made me feel like I didn’t want to be there.
I would say to someone that is considering going, TO GO, because you’re making long lasting memories, forming forever friendships and family that you can always count on. Also, you’re getting to know more about God and maybe yourself especially if this is a new experience.”
