This Sunday evening we’re gathering outdoors at the Lake Columbia pavilion at 5:00 PM for a special time of worship, fellowship, and study in God’s Word. It’s a great chance to slow down, enjoy the beauty of God's creation, and spend time with our church family.

We’ll also share a meal together — ribs, baked beans, and potato salad! We’ll have fun and games available for all ages, so feel free to bring the whole family and invite a friend.

We’d love to see you there as we worship, eat, and enjoy an evening together at the lake.

Tomorrow we continue our walk through Hebrews by looking at 7:20–28, where the writer helps us understand the kind of High Priest Jesus truly is. Unlike the priests of the old covenant, whose ministry ended with their lives, Jesus holds His priesthood permanently. His intercession doesn’t stop, and His care for His people doesn’t fade.

This passage reminds us that Christ’s saving work is complete and His presence is constant. He doesn’t step away, grow weary, or lose track of His own. Because He lives forever, He is able to save completely — and to keep those who belong to Him.

If you’re carrying burdens, questions, or simply need to be reminded of the steady grace of Christ, this text offers real encouragement. We’d love for you to join us tomorrow at 11 as we gather to worship and rest in the faithfulness of our eternal High Priest.

When the law couldn’t bring us close, Jesus did.

Tomorrow at Village, we’re stepping into Hebrews 7:11–19 and seeing why God gave us a better Priest—One who brings a better hope and opens the way for us to draw near to Him.

The old covenant could reveal our need, but it could never change our hearts. Christ can.

The law could point toward God, but it could never bring us into His presence. Christ does.
