Our kids have spent this month talking about how they can live out the Gospel of Jesus!
We want to help families to continue discipling children all throughout the week. Parent cues give you a weekly outline to help you to have intentional moments as a family. Drop a comment if you want to learn more about our ministry!

Our Lord Jesus died a sinners death in our place. Today we remember the darkness that followed his death, soon to be turned to glorious light in the resurrection.

Today we as Christians remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the son of God. On the cross, he took on the burden of all sin to redeem the world. As he suffered and died, the disciples, his family, and many more looked on. Christians have the greatest hope in Jesus, but that does not mean that we don't grieve.
Let us remember today that it is for our sake that Christ was crucified

Maundy Thursday calls to mind so many important moments in the life of Christ. The last supper with his disciples, washing their feet, his prayer in he garden of Gethsemane, and the final betrayal of Judas. Today we prepare to face the darkest time in the church calendar with the knowledge that the resurrection will soon follow.

Sometimes called "Spy Wednesday", this day is described in the gospels. The plot to kill Jesus further develops through Judas going to the priests and promising betrayal.
The woman at Bethany, though, anointed him with expensive perfume. She honored Christ while he was with them.
As Jesus told his disciples, "Truly I say to you, wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her."
