Dear Parishioners,

This past week, we received news that Fr. David has received a new assignment from Archbishop Checchio. He has been appointed to full time ministry as the Director of Catholic Identity at Archbishop Hannan High School. This appointment is effective June 16, 2026. We will miss Fr. David and his ministry here, but are excited for the Hannan community, and glad that he won't be going too far away! We will have an opportunity to thank Fr. David on Saturday, June 6. He will celebrate the 4PM Mass, followed by a reception in the Weseman Center.

At the same time, we are happy to announce that Fr. William Mumphrey, currently the parochial vicar at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Slidell will be our new vicar at St. Anselm, effective June 16, 2026! We will have an opportunity to greet him once he arrives.

Please keep Fr. David and Fr. William in your prayers during this time of transition.
