Two natures beat within my breast,
The one is foul, the other is blessed,
The one I love, the other I hate,
The one I feed will dominate.

If I sow to the flesh then I reap the works of the flesh, if I sow to the Spirit then I reap the fruit of the Spirit.

Where I sow determines from that which I reap.

If you don’t like your present fruit then change the present root that you are fertilizing.

“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. It’s Pastor Appreciation Month!
Honoring Pastor Tod Hill

At Nehemiah’s Gate, we believe God sends men who carry both passion and purpose — leaders who not only proclaim the Gospel but live it out with conviction and love. Today, we are honored to recognize Pastor Tod Hill, who leads Wednesday night services at The River Church in Nortonville, Kentucky, and formerly pastored Crossfire Church in Madisonville.

Pastor Tod’s life and ministry reflect a clear, God-given calling: to evangelize the lost, encourage the church, and equip the saints. Through Tod Hill Ministries, his preaching, teaching, and writing have inspired countless believers to pursue a deeper, more personal relationship with Jesus. His message is bold, Spirit-filled, and centered on the life-changing power of the Word of God.

As an author, Pastor Tod has carried that same fire into his writing with books like “The God Who Spoke Still Speaks” and “God, You’re Crazy.” Both reveal his heart for radical faith — reminding readers that the same God who speaks still moves, still calls, and sometimes leads us into wild obedience that defies human logic but fulfills divine purpose.

Over the years, Pastor Tod has grown in:
• Evangelistic leadership that draws people into repentance and renewal
• Teaching and equipping that strengthens the Body of Christ
• Mentorship and partnership that raise up others for Kingdom work
• Faithful stewardship in both local and traveling ministry

We are deeply thankful that Pastor Tod has said yes to walk alongside Nehemiah’s Gate in discipling the men coming through our home.

His involvement will bring:
• A powerful evangelistic anointing that awakens hearts and calls men into new life in Christ
• Spirit-led preaching and mentoring that fan the flame of faith within our home
• Encouragement and equipping that strengthen these men to become leaders and witnesses for the Gospel beyond Nehemiah’s Gate

Pastor Tod’s “yes” is a reflection of his heart — to reach the lost, build the found, and partner with others who share that same Kingdom vision. His presence with us will help raise up mighty men of God who not only know Jesus but boldly proclaim Him.
