We’ve had a few questions about the Entry/Registration process, so we wanted to make it as easy as possible! 🤠

1. Print the entry form. (fill it out digitally using your phone’s markup feature if you don’t have access to printer)
2. Fill it out.
3. Take a picture of the completed form.
4. Send the picture to Jodi, along with your Venmo payment, to the number listed on the form.

That’s it! You’re entered! 🤠

We’ve decided to skip mail-in entries to keep things simple and save a stamp.

Meet Kelli Ellard 🤎

We’re excited to have Kelli joining us Friday night at Sisters in the Saddle, where she’ll be hosting our leathercraft experience!

Kelli is the owner and craftsman behind Ellard Saddlery and The Salty Heifer Leather Co., where she handcrafts custom saddles and leather goods with a passion for excellence, integrity, and purpose.

More than a leatherworker, Kelli has a heart for discipleship. She believes God often uses the work of our hands to shape the condition of our hearts, and she loves drawing parallels between craftsmanship and the life of faith. Whether building a saddle, teaching leatherworking, or opening God’s Word, her desire is to encourage others to discover their God-given identity, walk confidently in their calling, and faithfully steward the gifts the Lord has entrusted to them.

Together with her husband, Jerry, Kelli is committed to serving wherever God leads, equipping others to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ while living lives marked by authenticity, humility, and wholehearted devotion.

Through this leather workshop, Kelli hopes to inspire each woman to create with confidence, embrace the beauty of learning something new, and remember that the Master Craftsman is always at work, shaping us into His image—one faithful step at a time.

Got a horse that believes steering is merely a suggestion? Well… we’ll pray for you. 🙏🏼🤣

The whole point of Sisters in the Saddle is to get women together, try something new, laugh a LOT, and make some memories.

So grab whatever horse you have, grab your sisters, and come have some fun.

Study the pattern. Pick your horse. Practice your stops. And maybe practice your poker face when it all goes sideways. 😂

✨ Meet Our Guest Speaker: Kyla Roan ✨

Kyla Roan serves as the Kids Ministry Director at Lone Star Cowboy Church, where she is passionate about helping children and families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. With a heart for discipleship and a love for creating engaging, Christ-centered experiences, she leads children’s programs, camps, events, and Vacation Bible School, making the Gospel meaningful and memorable for every child.

Kyla believes children’s ministry is more than childcare. It is an opportunity to build a foundation of faith that can last a lifetime. She is committed to partnering with parents, equipping volunteers, and creating safe, welcoming environments where every child knows they are loved, valued, and wanted by Jesus.

God placed a call on Kyla’s life and the life of her husband many years ago. Together, they have faithfully pursued that calling wherever He has led. Through every season, God has used their joys, challenges, victories, and hardships to strengthen their faith and prepare them for ministry. They believe God never wastes our past but uses it to strengthen our testimony and equip us to encourage and serve others with compassion and grace.

Raised with a deep appreciation for faith, family, and the cowboy way of life, Kyla enjoys blending Western culture with biblical truth to create unique ministry experiences that connect with children and families alike.

Outside of ministry, Kyla is a devoted wife and mother of three girls. She enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her daughters in their activities, and embracing the everyday adventures of life. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in theological education and has developed a passion for studying Scripture, especially the Hebrew language and its application to biblical teaching.

Whether she’s leading Vacation Bible School, encouraging parents and volunteers, pouring into the lives of children, or serving alongside her church family, Kyla’s greatest desire is to see people come to know Jesus and experience the transforming power of His grace. She is passionate about helping the next generation build a resilient faith, knowing that God can redeem every story and use every season of life for His glory.

We are honored to welcome Kyla Roan and can’t wait to hear what God has placed on her heart.

✨ Meet our Guest Speaker: Julie Tolliver Hicks ✨

Julie Hicks is a servant of Christ Jesus, devoted wife, mom, and worship leader. Raised on a small family farm in Conroe, Texas, she now enjoys life on her own homestead in Bedias, where she finds joy in family, gardening, creating, cooking, and discovering God in the beauty of everyday life.

Known for her authenticity, humor, and deep love for Jesus, Julie is passionate about reminding others that no one is beyond God’s redemption, purpose, or grace. She believes the Lord is still in the business of redeeming broken stories and bringing beauty from ashes. Whether sharing about faith, family, loss, restoration, or learning to trust God in seasons of waiting, her heart is always the same to point people to Jesus.

Whether leading worship or sharing God’s Word, Julie approaches every opportunity with reverence. Years ago, during a quiet time with the Lord, He called her to remove her shoes whenever she ministers a personal reminder that she is standing on holy ground and that every word spoken and every song sung belongs to Him.

From the moment you enter, the towering cross beside the water serves as a powerful welcome, reminding you that Christ is at the center of it all.

Our prayer is that every woman who walks through these gates leaves encouraged, refreshed, and reminded that God is still writing beautiful stories.
