Any recovering perfectionists out there?

God isn't looking for perfection from us. (Newsflash, I know.) If we could achieve perfection on our own, we wouldn't need Christ's sacrifice.

But we can't, and we do.

We CAN'T achieve perfection on our own, and we DO need Christ's love, mercy, and sacrifice.

God knows this, and He doesn't require perfection from us. (Thank God!) He's more concerned with our progress.

God wants us to look to Him as we take each step.

Dear Lord, grant us the grace and strength to take ONE STEP, and as we take that step, we look to you and thank you. Then, Lord, help us to take the NEXT STEP. Help us to focus on You THROUGH all and ABOVE all. Amen!

Whose voice are you listening to? The voice of fear, or the voice of Truth?

Fear tells us "you can't... you won't... you're not..."

But the voice of Truth reminds us that "God is... He can... He will..."

He is the Great I Am, He can accomplish the impossible, and He will always answer when you call to Him. 🙌

Ouch, this one's tough, but that doesn't make it any less true.

God, indeed, has perfect timing.

In our microwave-fast, ad-skipping culture, we have lost the art of WAITING.

But God makes us wait on purpose---not to PUNISH us, but to PROTECT us.

In a season of waiting, God weaves so many details together, details we cannot even imagine. And He allows the waiting to develop character in us. If you're waiting on your answer, ask God to develop the maturity you need to be ready when the answer arrives. 🤲

The Lord will honor your prayers, and He will answer.

Just like a seed planted in soil, the evidence of the answer may not be visible right now, but watch and see what God will bring forth in the proper time.

He alone is able accomplish what no human can. 🌱
