The Lord’s Day is almost here!

Join us tomorrow at 11, as God calls His people together through the ordinary means of grace, His Word preached, the sacraments administered, and the prayers of His church offered in faith.

We look forward to worshiping with you!

The heavens above and the earth beneath declare the glory of our Creator. 🌿

This week in Bible study, we worked through Chapter 4 of the Westminster Confession of Faith, considering God’s work of creation and His sovereign power over all things.

“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” // Colossians 1:16–17

We would love for you to join us each week as we study God’s Word and grow together in the truths of the Reformed faith!

This Lord’s Day 🌿

Grateful for another Sunday spent worshipping, learning, and fellowshipping together across generations of Christ’s church.

10am | Morning Worship
11:30am | Fellow Time

“Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights! Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts!
Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars! Praise him, you highest heavens, and your waters above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord! For he commanded and they were created. And he established them forever and ever; he gave a decree, and it shall not pass away.” // Psalm‬ ‭148‬:‭1‬-‭6‬

Join us this Lord’s Day 🌿

11am | Morning Worship: 1 Peter 3:13-22 & fellowship to follow.

We hope to see you there!

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! Let Israel say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let the house of Aaron say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let those who fear the Lord say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free.” // Psalm‬ ‭118‬:‭1‬-‭5‬

Our fallen condition is not only seen in what we do, but in what we are by nature. Scripture teaches that we are guilty in Adam, lacking the righteousness with which man was created, and corrupted in every part of our being. From this sinful nature flow all the sins we commit.

“Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.” // Psalm 51:5

“And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—” // Ephesians 2:1–5

“But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.” // Matthew 15:18-19

Sin is both our condition and our practice. It reaches to the heart and affects the whole person. Only when we understand the depth of our sin can we rightly see our need for the grace of God in Christ.
