On Sunday, Pastor Sebastian preached from Acts 4:32-5:11. He challenged us to examine whether we are known for our love as the early church was. The early believers demonstrated their Spirit-filled lives not only through bold proclamation of the gospel but through extraordinary generosity, holding possessions loosely and ensuring no one among them had need.

Nazarene Youth Conference is coming up fast! July 1st-5th, we will be sending three students to worship and serve the Lord in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This event is such a wonderful opportunity for our students! They not only get to listen to some of the best speakers and praise bands, but they also get to do so with and serve alongside thousands of people their age. Something about that makes the faith a little more personal and real. Seeing God move through not just people older than you but people your age is really amazing.

This conference is far from being free, though. NYC costs around 1,800 dollars, which can be a financial burden.

There are two things you can do about that.

1. Pray. Not only can you pray in private to our Lord for our kids, but you can write a note, too. There is a basket for donations/ prayers in the back of the sanctuary.

2. You can donate money to our NYC fund. Any money given will be given to our students based on their current needs or future needs!

So, please be in prayer about how you can support our students as they raise funds/ as they take a journey to Salt Lake City to praise God with thousands of other students!

In response to suffering, Christians face a choice: make complaints (like the Israelites in the wilderness) or confess God's sovereignty and pray for boldness (like Perpetua, Peter and John did in the early church).

Pastor Paul preached from Acts 4 on Sunday. He emphasized that God's love and redemption are available to all, regardless of past failures.
The Holy Spirit can fundamentally change how we think, act, and treat ourselves and others. Peter's journey from denying Jesus three times to boldly proclaiming His name before the religious authorities demonstrates that true transformation comes not merely from good intentions or past experiences, but from the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.
