Arts & Sports Camp offers a wide variety of activities beyond Bible, crafts & music. We want to show children how all these activities bring glory to God.

ASC will take place this year from Monday, June 6th through Wednesday, June 8th 2022, from 8:30am to 11:30am.

It's Day 3 of Arts & Sports Camp!!!

Today's Bible Story is Peter, James, and John with Jesus on a Mountain (Mark 9:1-8).

Jesus took Peter, James, and John up a mountain to be alone. While they were there, Jesus' appearance changed and His clothes became bright white. Moses and Elijah appeared and talked with Jesus. The three disciples were very scared. God spoke from heaven and told them to listen to Jesus.

These three disciples had special roles. They were allowed to see something amazing and share the message of who Jesus was. Just like them, each of us has a unique spot on Jesus' team.

What unique spot do you believe Jesus has for you?

Jesus tells us we all have a place on His team. We may face challenges, but with faith and trust in God, we can find our purpose. The disciples' story reminds us that God has a special role for every one of us.

How can you begin to fill the role Jesus has for you?

It's Day 2 at Arts & Sports Camp!!!

Today's Bible Story is Peter Walks on Water (Matthew 14:22-33).

Peter and the other disciples were in a boat during a storm. Jesus had stayed behind to pray. In the middle of the night, the disciples saw Someone walking on the water. It was Jesus! The disciples were afraid, but Jesus told them to not be afraid. Peter asked if he could come to Him, and Jesus said yes.

Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. When he focused on Jesus, Peter stayed up. But when he looked at the strong wind and waves, he got scared and began to sink. Peter had to practice focusing on Jesus. Jesus immediately reached out and saved him.

When we trust Jesus, He is with us when we can face tough challenges. When Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, Peter did something impossible. But when he looked away, he sank. If we stay focused on Jesus, He will be with us in the hardest times.

Who can we trust when things get tough?

It's Day 1 of Arts & Sports Camp!!!

Today's Bible Story is Peter is Called to be a Fisher of Men (Matthew 4:18-22).

Jesus called Peter to be a "fisher of men." Jesus wantd Peter to help people find hope and love, just like a fisherman catches fish. Peter was a fisherman, and he might have wondered if he was good enough for something bigger. Like Peter, we all have times when we feel unsure. But when Jesus invited Peter to follow Him, it showed that He want us to do the same thing - tell others about Jesus and His love. We can do great things too!

How can you encourage others around you?

Our purpose in life will change when we follow Jesus. At first, Peter didn't understand that he had a bigger role. But as he followed Jesus, he grew, became a leader, and helped many people follow Jesus. Just like Peter, we can discover our purpose in God's plan and help others know Jesus. We can make a difference in the world!
