TANZANIA UPDATE:
Today was an encouraging day of ministry and planning. This morning, I met with several men who appear to be the primary leaders of a new church being formed in the village. We discussed the challenges they face, especially getting people to join a church that is unfamiliar in this region. Later, we spent three hours studying and discussing important church doctrines, including baptism, marriage, and leadership roles within the church. We are also working to connect the local pastor with the Baptist pastor in Ilalangulu to assist with the organization and accreditation of this new church. Chief Kayamba joined us and expressed great excitement about having a Baptist church established in his village. He understands that Christianity brings peace, hope, and unification in a community. Tomorrow, we will travel approximately 4½ hours to the Pimbwe village of Ilalangulu to meet with church elders and the pastor there. Please pray for safe travels.

SUNDAY UPDATE FROM TANZANIA:
We had a wonderful church service this morning including singing a song I hadn’t sung in years - "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." Pastor Amondo preached about “Truth” using several passages from John, including chapter 14 verse 6. Although there were only 11 of us there, we had a great time worshipping and praising God and lifting up the name of Jesus. We are heading back to the village to do a more in-depth study of the meaning of “salvation.”

Exciting news from Tanzania! On the first two days of this trip, Philip has been encouraged by the growing spiritual hunger among local men in Nsenkwa who have been faithfully studying Scripture together. What began as conversations and Bible distribution on previous visits has now developed into a group of 12 men meeting weekly, with a desire to gather for a Sunday worship service. The group has secured a location and is taking ownership of what could become the beginning of a local church. Philip spent several hours studying God's Word with them, met a former pastor with strong biblical knowledge, and saw continued interest from others eager to serve and lead. Please pray for wisdom, unity, and the Lord's guidance as this exciting new movement unfolds in Nsenkwa.

Please be in prayer for our team serving in Tanzania, August 18th-28th. They will continue the work among the Pimbwe and Konongo tribes, building on relationships already formed with many in the Pimbwe village. The team’s focus will be to strengthen these connections and share the hope of Jesus Christ throughout the village and surrounding countryside.

Another awesome day for our mission team in Belize today! We went back to the same neighborhoods as yesterday for some follow up visits. The smiles on these faces are beautiful!

Our BELIZE MISSION TEAM has been hard at work! Today, we carried food bags out into the neighborhood near the church. The bags contained rice, beans, flour, cheese, oil, and pasta. These food bags are tangible evidence of God's love and provision for His people.

UPDATE FROM OUR BELIZE MISSION TEAM:
Things in Belize are going well. The Holy Spirit is active! We arrived safely Saturday. We went to two different churches Sunday and visited two separate neighborhoods yesterday and today. Please continue to pray for us.
