“Hi! My name is Lauren and I’m a member of the Alethean Sorority at Hope College. I’ve been a part of Greek IV for 2 years and it has been the most transformational part of my college experience! I learned valuable skills such as how to lead a Bible Study and also developed a close relationship with my mentor, Tracey, who has encouraged me to grow deeper in my faith.

After graduation I will be working as a registered nurse in Holland!“

You don’t need perfect words to talk about Jesus.
You just need eyes to notice where the Holy Spirit is already at work. 👀🔥

Spiritual conversations don’t have to be forced or weird — sometimes they begin with curiosity, questions, and simple obedience.

“Hi! My name is Lizzie and I am a Chi Omega from Purdue University. I’ve been apart of Greek IV for all of my time in college and it has been the greatest blessing! I have cherished having older examples who empowered me to live confidently and loved having opportunities to mentor during my time leading Bible study and serving on leadership team.

Following graduation, I am headed to Houston, TX to work full time as a process engineer! Boiler up!”

“Hi! My name is Grace and I’m a Pi Beta Phi at San Diego State University. I’ve been apart of Greek IV for the past 2 years and it has truly been the most transformative and most memorable years of my life. Greek IV has shown me the importance of community in growing my faith and has given me the opportunity to step into leadership. Having the privilege to lead others in their faith has only pushed me to continue growing and striving to be a better disciple of the Lord. The community I found in Greek IV will always be so special to me and is something I will carry with me long after graduation.

After graduation I will continue to pursue my multiple subject teaching credential in hopes of getting a full time position this fall in San Diego!”

“I love leading my Chapter ministry because it’s a space where guys can be honest, grow, and build something deeper than surface-level friendships. It’s also pushed me to claim my faith openly in my frat, reaching out and inviting people in, which before being a leader was something outside of my comfort zone. There’s no way around the discomfort, but on the other side of that is real growth in faith.

“In the house, there’s been a shift toward being more open with each other. Guys are being really honest about where they are in their faith and where they want to grow. I see and have been a part of conversations about faith in random places like parties or chapter, bringing it into spaces on the row where it usually isn’t.

My prayer for my brothers is that each of us would truly know Jesus personally, not just know about Him. That our faith would be real and something we carry into everything we do.”

What does it mean to be a part of a Chapter Ministry? This. This is it. It’s spiritual conversations in crowded bars at 2am. It’s your brothers and sisters asking questions about Jesus on the couch in your house ona. Tuesday night. It’s ministry the way Jesus did it, in proximity to the people He loves. And in Greek IV, THIS is what we’re all about!

“I never thought the impact would be as big as it is. I never thought that I would be leading a Chapter Ministry on campus with Greek IV. I never thought that 15 of us would be going to a foreign country on a missions trip. And all the other things that have come out of this, I never thought they would accumulate to this.

So to anyone who’s thinking, about, you know, is it even worth it if I start something? I don’t think you realize the impact you can have.”

- Nathan, Sigma Chi at Purdue University

“Leading chapter ministry is not where I expected to find myself this year, but it’s truly changed me and my sorority experience in incredible ways. I wouldn’t classify myself as an outspoken leader, so I came into this space with a lot of self-doubt. The Lord quickly transformed that and provided me with such a loving group of girls that not only uplift each other, but me as well. We’ve created a space of true connection founded in Christ and support each other in going deeper in our faith together. It’s been such a blessing to watch these girls boldly grow in their faith and love radically.“
