Always be ready to share the reason for your hope. When someone asks why you go to church, why you follow Jesus, or why you still have peace in hard seasons, point them to Christ. Know the Word, trust the Spirit, and be willing to say, โ€œLet me show you where my hope comes from.โ€

โ€œAlways be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.โ€ โ€” 1 Peter 3:15

The gospel was never meant to stay within the boundaries of what is familiar or comfortable. We are called to share Jesus wherever we go, recognize the opportunities God places in our path, and be willing to follow when He leads us somewhere unexpected.

Prayer is more than our response when life becomes difficult. It is what fuels us to live boldly for Godโ€™s mission. When we pray together, recognize Godโ€™s sovereignty, and honestly ask for His help, we are reminded that we do not face lifeโ€™s challenges in our own strength. Through prayer, the Holy Spirit gives us the power, courage, and unity to faithfully carry the gospel wherever God sends us.

Salvation isnโ€™t earned by doing enough โ€œgood things,โ€ keeping traditions, or checking religious boxes. Itโ€™s a gift from God through faith in Jesus.

And if fear is keeping you from sharing that truth, especially fear of being asked a question you canโ€™t answer, donโ€™t let that stop you. Let it lead you to prepare.

Open Godโ€™s Word. Research the question. Ask mature believers. Learn the truth.

Fear doesnโ€™t have to silence your faith. The Holy Spirit gives courage, and God equips you as you obey.

Take the next step. ๐Ÿ™

God calls us to courageous obedience, even when following Him brings opposition. Our confidence doesnโ€™t come from our own ability, knowledge, or strength, but from the Holy Spirit who empowers us to speak truth and faithfully point others to Jesus. As we pray, grow in truth, and take faithful steps of obedience, we can boldly seize the opportunities God gives us to join His mission.

We had an incredible day at The 2026 Grove Charity Classic!

Thanks to the incredible support of our players, sponsors, and volunteers, more than $8,000 was raised to support local and international missions. Every team that played, every business that partnered with us, and every volunteer who gave their time helped make that impact possible.

Special thanks to presenting sponsor Chick-fil-A Madison for providing lunch, Sunset Landing Golf Course for hosting us, and Jeffโ€™s Bagel Run of Madison for providing breakfast for our players.

We look forward to next yearโ€™s tournament! Make plans to join us September 11, 2027!
