A new AA fellowship is being established at St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church. An organizational meeting will be held on Friday, February 20 at St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church
(5905 Northwest Lovett Rd., Greenville, FL 32331) at 5:00 PM. If you are interested in helping get this ministry started, or possibly launching an AA meeting at your church, please plan on being present.

Immediately following the organizational meeting, their first AA meeting will be held at 6:00 PM in the church's fellowship hall.

Good news! The hymnals from Fellowship Baptist have found a home. They are going to a church in Keaton Beach that was destroyed by the hurricanes. What a blessing! Thanks everyone.

Fellowship Baptist Church is giving way approximately 90 hymnals to any church that is interested. They are the 1991 Baptist Hymnal and they have "Fellowship Baptist Church" printed on the cover. If interested, give Christy Adams a call at (850) 673-9764.

Mayo Baptist Church Hiring: Worship Leader

Location: Mayo Baptist Church, Hwy 51 N, Mayo, Florida
Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week

We are prayerfully seeking a Worship Leader to help guide our congregation into authentic, Spirit-filled worship each week. If you have a heart for God, a gift for music, and a desire to lead others into His presence, we’d love to meet you!

The Worship Leader is a salaried position which works with the Pastor to provide leadership for all musical aspects of praise and worship services at the Church. The Leader continually seeks input and ideas on growing the music aspects of the worship services for use by the Holy Spirit in preparing the hearts of the congregation for the preaching of the Word.

What You’ll Do:
● Select, purchase and prepare music for all regular services.
● Select, purchase and prepare music for all special services, such as Easter and Christmas performances.
● Identify and prepare musicians to accompany music performances.
● Plan and direct all choirs in the rehearsal of music.
● Direct all choir and congregational music.
● Solicit, select and support special music provided by individuals or groups.
● Lead the sound team to provide the technical support needed for services.
● Create background slides for projection during services.
● Work with youth and children’s groups to prepare and integrate drama into special music performances.
● Encourage participation in the music programs of the Church.
● Manage, as needed, all social media for the MBC Choir.
● Assist with Vacation Bible School, as needed.
● As requested, provide support for funerals, weddings or other special events held at the Church.
