This morning we drove through an area near Brookhaven where a tornado had passed through.

Trees were snapped like toothpicks for nearly half a mile wide. Homes were damaged. Lives were forever changed. The storm had left its mark.

And it reminded me of something powerful…

Life can change in a moment.

Sometimes the storms of life come without warning. And in one night, things people spent years building can be gone. But in the middle of devastation, there is still something to thank God for!

Lives were spared.
Breath is still in our lungs.
Mercy still remains.

Material things can be replaced, but a life cannot.

Storms have a way of reminding us what truly matters. Not possessions. Not status. But faith, family, love, and the grace of God that carries us through when everything else falls apart.

Today, pray for those affected.
Hold your loved ones a little tighter.
And never take another day for granted!
