Through their connection with the Besselievres and Broadmoor’s Shelter Ministry, the Burges already knew the Besselievres’ three younger children. Then they discovered that the children’s three older siblings needed a home, too.

Knowing all six siblings attend Broadmoor, they opened their home to the older three, giving all six siblings the opportunity to grow up knowing one another.

Through Shelter Ministry, they found a community to support and walk alongside them as they said yes to foster care and adoption.

After struggling with infertility, the Besselievres never imagined God would answer their prayers by bringing three siblings into their family through adoption.

And they didn’t walk it alone. Broadmoor's Shelter Ministry surrounded them with a community to pray, support, and walk alongside them.
