Praise God I've had 3 ladies sign up for this Bible study so far! There's plenty of room for more! This will start in October.
However, I had a man tell me yesterday, that a few of you that saw this asked him about this and he said by posting this, it makes our ministry look bad. I told him that Terry and my ministry is more than just food. We started this ministry to help anyone in need. Our ministry is about bringing the hope and healing that God can give in many ways. If this post upset or offended anyone please reach out to me. Domestic Violence is a real issue with lasting effects. Women (and men too) should have a safe space to be heard and know they are not alone in the cycle of abuse. God has called me to do this and I will continue. I help with this in El Salvador but this issue runs rampant here in the States too.
Again, plenty of space left! It's time to use your voice!

With cold weather right around the corner, we are accepting donations to help the large homeless community in Cincinnati. Your generosity can help our most vulnerable souls this winter.

WHAT IS NEEDED:

BLANKETS
THERMAL SOCKS (all sizes)
THERMAL UNDERWEAR (all sizes)
GLOVES
STOCKINGS CAPS
COATS/JACKETS/ HOODIES (all sizes)

NO OTHER CLOTHES CAN BE ACCEPTED!!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
I (Connie) am starting a Bible study that is directly aimed at dealing with abuse. The book in the pics is what we will be studying out of.
This study group is aimed at healing and letting you know that you are NOT alone.
I have been thru all of the types of abuse. I understand where you are coming from.
This group will be totally private. What's said in the group, stays in the group.
I'm looking to start at the beginning of October. It is a seven week study so we will go eight weeks...the first week will be getting to know each other a little.
I know the books are a little pricey but PLEASE don't let that be a reason to not join if you feel you need this. I have extra copies and if I run out I have a printer to make copies lol!
If you or anyone you know is interested, get your book ordered and contact me for details concerning the days, times and place.

We received a small amount of produce today. It is sitting on the porch at the warehouse.
Please take only what you need from this to give everyone a chance to get some because everyone doesn't see our posts right away.

WE JUST GOT A SMALL AMOUNT OF AVOCADOES AND LIMES IN.
STILL HAVE TOMATOES, BELL PEPPERS AND CUCUMBERS. GOING THRU THEM TRYING TO GET BAD ONES OUT. COME GET THEM BEFORE THEY GO BAD!!
