Unity of Madison

Unity of Madison Unity of Madison is a heart-centered spiritual community, focusing on Acceptance, Love, Peace and Joy A positive path for spiritual living. Our 5 Principles:
1.

Unity offers practical, spiritual teachings that empower abundant and meaningful living. Unity teaches that each person is a unique expression of God created with sacred worth. Living from that awareness transforms our lives and the world. God is all there is.
2. Human beings are God in expression. We are divine.
3. Our thoughts and feelings have the power to create our lives.
4. Prayer and medita

tion keep us connected to Source energy.
5. It's not enough to know spiritual principles; we must live the truth we know. We help people discover & live their spiritual purpose and potential. We help people have a stronger connection to the Divine every day. Our spiritual center has an inspiring minister and we are involved in spiritual social action. We are socially progressive, all are welcome. We provide a philosophy that is spiritual, not religious; and love-based, not fear based. We honor all paths to the Divine. We believe in making a positive difference in the world.

Sunday Service, September 6th at 10 AM. Join us!!

What is yours to do—and are you willing to commit to it? This Sunday, Rev. Debra will explore how purpose becomes powerful when we stop comparing, trust our gifts, and give ourselves fully to the path before us. As Proverbs 16:3 reminds us: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

8 30 26 Sunday Service at 10 AM
The classic Unity affirmation of "Let Go and Let God" is a powerful message. Barry Roberts, Licensed Unity Teacher, will invite us to take a deeper look into what does it mean to "let go?" What do we let go of, how do we let go, what happens when we do, what keeps us from truly letting go? And, what happens when we do really let go?

Sunday, August 23rd
During the Sunday Service

As a new school year begins, we invite students (all grades and ages), teachers, professors, school and university staff, and all who support the work of education to receive a special blessing during our Sunday service on August 23rd.

Whether you are entering a classroom, teaching a course, preparing meals, maintaining buildings, working in an office, driving a bus, supporting students, or beginning a new season of learning, we honor the important part you play in creating places where minds and hearts can grow.

Students of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks for a special backpack blessing as we surround them with love, wisdom, courage, curiosity, and joy for the year ahead.

Inspired by the poetry of Rabindranath Tagore, “The Innermost One” explores the sacred presence that quietly moves through every season of our lives. Rev. Debra invites you to reflect on what it means to recognize God not as distant from us, but as an intimate presence within and around us—the One who touches our deepest being.

Sunday Service, August 16th at 10 AM

Inspired by Mary Oliver’s beloved poem The Summer Day, we’ll explore what it means to awaken to the Divine presence within us and all around us. What might change if we understood paying attention as a form of prayer? How might we live differently if we truly remembered that this moment, this day, this life is precious? Join Rev. Debra as we consider how to live with greater awareness, wonder, courage, and intention—and ask ourselves the question: What will I do with my one wild and precious life?

Join us this Sunday at 10 AM

Inspired by a poem by David Whyte, Rev. Debra encourages us to recognize that every season of change can become a doorway to spiritual awakening. Even when something familiar has ended, the Divine Presence within us remains steady and whole. Through faith, prayer, and an openness to Spirit, we begin to see at we are not simply leaving something behind—we are arriving at a deeper awareness of who we truly are.
