Big Shoutout to some of the members here that volunteered their time to drive to Charlotte and minister to the homeless in the area. We gave away supplies and some hot meals to the people. We also prayed for them and spent some time talking with them.

On that note, please pray because we are looking at a way for us to do something similar here in the Madison area, even down to Greensboro. There are a lot of places that the homeless can go to and get things, but there are not a lot of groups/people that GO out to the homeless and minister directly.

Matthew 25: 37-40
37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink?
38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing?
39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’

We had an absolute blast at the King Rodeo this past Saturday night. We also enjoyed some dinner and dessert at Dairio as well.

Such a fun night of fellowship. We also have some videos of most of us riding the mechanical bull!

Our youth group surprised their moms today with a tea party for Mother's Day. Turned out really well for everyone involved.

Everyone here at Cornerstone wishes a happy Mother's Day to everyone. If you know of someone who has either lost their mother or a mother who has lost their children, be there for them this weekend. Fellowship and love them.

We wouldn't be where we are now without our moms!

I wanted to give a quick shout out to the men here at Cornerstone. These were taken a few weeks ago when we helped someone in the community with a project they needed help with. Disassembling a deck to build a future one.

Some were there working who were not pictured. They were putting screen doors up.

One of the things that brings me joy is watching people be the hands and feet of Jesus. We do it out of the love we have for the Lord and the love we have for people.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Lord willing we will finish Romans 6 tomorrow morning. For us Christians our reward for our toils and our labor isn't gold or earthly possessions, but it is an everlasting relationship with the Lord. That is worth far more than anything else in the world!
