🎉 Alhamdulillah — Celebrating 15 Years of Madison Masjid! 🎉

This May marks 15 years since the founding of Madison Masjid / MAS North Alabama — a journey of faith, service, growth, and community.

Since 2011, this masjid has been more than a place of prayer. It has been a home for learning, friendship, outreach, and transformation. Through our full-time schools, weekend school, youth and family programs, halaqat, community dinners, interfaith outreach, civic engagement, and countless educational and social initiatives, Allah has blessed this community to touch many hearts.

By the grace of Allah:
• Many brothers and sisters embraced Islam here
• Generations of children grew through our schools and programs
• Lifelong friendships and families were built
• Community members served together in times of joy and hardship
• Bridges of understanding were built with neighbors, churches, synagogues, and civil society
• The mission of MAS — nurturing Allah-centered, lifelong agents of change — continued to grow in North Alabama

We celebrate every volunteer, donor, teacher, imam, youth leader, student, family, and supporter who carried this mission forward over the years. Every prayer, class, meal, smile, conversation, and sacrifice mattered.

As we celebrate these 15 blessed years, we renew our commitment:
To serve more.
To grow more.
To welcome more.
To learn more.
To uplift more.
To worship Allah with sincerity and excellence.
And to continue building a generation rooted in faith, purpose, compassion, and positive change.

One of those killed at the Islamic Center of San Diego has been identified as Amin Abdullah, who was a security guard at the mosque.

On one of his last posts on Facebook, he wrote: "What is success? To many people success is financial stability, good reputation, beauty etc.
As for ME! Wallahi, thumma Wallahi, it is returning back to Allah OUR creator with the same pure soul he loaned me at birth.
Having the Mala'ikah of Allahu ta'ala saying "don't fear and don't grieve, but receive the glad tidings of Jannah which you were promised by the Most forgiving and Most Merciful". May Allahu ta'ala grant us Husnal Khatimah, AAAAMEEEEN."
